iLight makes new connections at CEDIA Expo (29/6/2007)

CEDIA UK Expo 2007

A new range of upgraded interface products will be on iLight's stand at CEDIA Expo 2007 this month. The four lighting control interfaces, which range from a sensor interface to a system integrator, are all more compact than their predecessors to allow easier installation.

The Sensor Interface allows the connection of up to three sensors onto an iCAN network. It is designed to work with proprietary multisensors (motion, light, IR), using RJ12 connectors.

Enabling communications with other systems, the SI-2 System Integrator uses simple bidirectional ASCII commands. These RS232 commands are configurable, both for send and receive.

The Network Bridge allows large networks to be connected together.

For connecting into iLight systems via a PC, the PC Node now has a USB socket for use with laptops without a COM port.

All these models come in a compact brushed aluminium case. Availability is scheduled for later this year.
