News Middle Atlantic Products showcases its Designer Inspired Ultra Quiet Fan Panel (29/6/2007) CEDIA UK Expo 2007 Featuring remote monitoring and sleek home aesthetics, the IUQFP provides integrators with a solution for harmful heat buildup. Providing custom home integrators with a low noise, thermal management solution, Middle Atlantic Products is exhibiting its Designer Inspired Ultra Quiet Fan Panel (IUQFP) at CEDIA UK 2007. With an intelligent digital processor that varies fan speed proportionate to internal cabinet temperature and a remote notification system that indicates fan failure or overheating, custom home integrators can now monitor fan performance regularly, troubleshoot easier and address excessive heat before it becomes a problem. Unlike standard rack fans that require manual on/off control, IUQFP fans activate automatically at 26¡ C (80¡ F) and operate at speeds proportionate to the temperature inside the enclosure, maintaining a safe temperature, minimizing noise and maximizing fan life. If the temperature in the rack rises above a user-definable set point (between 35¡ C and 46¡ C), the fan panel relays an alert locally to its LCD, as well as to a third party remote control via contact closure. The IUQFP is also capable of sending the same alerts when there is a fan failure in the unit. Available with a black anodized finish, the IUQFP faceplate features a dimmable blue LED display that shows the enclosure's temperature, monitors fan speed and automatically scrolls fan failure and over-temperature alert messages. The panel occupies two rackspaces and features four ultra quiet fans that never emit more than 27 dB of noise, yet have a powerful 2.83 meters3 free air rating. "With the introduction of our Designer Inspired Ultra Quiet Fan Panel Series, we're providing integrators with an intuitive way to ensure a safe equipment environment and a reliable installation - even in quiet areas where people and electronics must coexist." Fully RoHS compliant and CE marked, IUQFP units are available with two or four fans and come complete with 2.75m temperature sensor and wire ties. The Designer Inspired IUQFP will be featured in Middle Atlantic Products' interactive thermal management display at the CEDIA UK Expo 2007.
