News Loewe's presents Modus L 42 LCD (29/6/2007) CEDIA UK Expo 2007 Flatscreen TV with a youthful design: * New 42" LCD screen * Digital+ platform for intetgrated reception of Freeview or DVBT with optional DVBS * Common Interface to decode pay TV * HD ready Loewe has added a new flat display set to its popular Modus family of LCD televisions. The Modus L42 has been transformed from plasma to LCD format making it one Loewe's largest LCD screen sizes. The 'Loewe Light' Modus product family now includes 42", 37" and 32" models - Modus L42 Modus L37 and Modus L32. All screens feature high definition LCD panels and are based on the unique, fully digitalised Loewe Digital+ platform. There is an integrated Freeview tuner, with the option to receive a variety of digital TV programmes via satellite (DVBS) if desired. The Common Interface integrated into the TVs makes reception of pay TV stations possible without an additional set-top box. And it goes without saying that Loewe Modus family of LCDs is HD ready and perfectly equipped for high definition television in 16:9 cinema format. As all new Loewe flat display TVs, Modus L 42, Modus L 37 and Modus L 32 are ready for HDTV and bear the European seal "HD ready". The combination of high definition LCD (1366 x 768 pixels) panels and the future-proof digital High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) ensure high definition reproduction of digital image and sound signals. The Sound+ audio system developed by Loewe provides an incredible audio experience, and the Modus LCDs can be conveniently and intuitively operated with the new Loewe Assist+, a clearly structured onscreen menu. And with the Electronic Program Guide (EPG), current programmes can either be viewed in a "Picture-in-Picture" (PIP) window or conveniently recorded using a DVD recorder. The revamped Modus LCD family boasts a youthful design to appeal to the young and stylish without comprimising on high value and a wide range of features. Versatile set-up options - such as the tabletop model, the stand unit or elegant wall-mount solution - make Loewe's new flat display eye-catchers in any room.
