News Loewe's Spheros R 37 goes Full HD (29/6/2007) CEDIA UK Expo 2007 Premium home entertainment manufacturer Loewe has updated its Spheros range to incorporate the new L2700 Digital+ chassis. The Spheros R 37 now includes * Image+ full HD panel for true high definition pictures. * Assist+ menu and remote * HD/DR+ for digital recording and playback in High Definition. * Sound+ audio system * Software upgrades via USB including RS232 * Hybrid tuner for choice of Freeview or DVB-T with DVB-S All of these elements harmoniously work together to deliver state of the art home cinema, home multimedia and home automation solutions for the discerning customer. Spheros R 37 incorporates the latest generation full high-definition LCD panel (1920 x 1080 pixels) for an unrivalled audio-visual experience. The smaller screen size Spheros R 32 LCD (1366 x 768 pixels) has been updated to a HD+ chassis which means both models now benefit from Loewe's Image+ HD picture improvement technology. Combined with the digital+ platform, Loewe Image+ represents a completely new improvement in picture display. Each incoming picture signal is monitored and optimised in terms of sharpness, colour precision, contrast and movement sharpness. Even faces and skin colours are enhanced with even greater depth of focus. Loewe Image+ functions regardless of the input source and displays top quality pictures every time. Digital picture and sound signals are reproduced via a High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI). Both models also feature a hybrid tuner for Freeview reception or DVB-T with optional DVB-S. The flat panel can be retrofitted with a common interface for pay TV reception. Spheros also incorporates an anti-reflective filter glass in front of the panel, to give the viewer the sharpest, clearest pictures with minimum reflections from ambient light - a prerequisite for maintaining high quality for long term TV viewing. Loewe's, Spheros R 37 and Spheros R 32 come in a choice of luxurious finishes - Platinum and High Gloss Basalt - as well as numerous placement options including uni-pole floor stand, motorised table top stand, wall mount and Italian-designed cube arrangement for seamless integration into the Loewe Systems range.
