News NuVo Technologies Releases Essentia with Bticino Compatible Keypads (18/6/2007) NuVo Technologies has released a new version of its popular six source, six zone, Essentia whole home audio system. The Essentia V.2 system has several upgraded features in the same simple, easy to use package that installers have become accustom to from NuVo products. The new Essentia, like the previous version, includes built-in Philips(r) Generation D( digital amplification of 40 watts per zone for all six zones of audio, and boasts a newly designed keypad that is compatible with the Bticino-style trimplates. Other feature additions to the keypad include easy-to-access front-end controls and simple rotary dial zone address setup. The backlit keypad allows quick and easy volume adjustment (with volume level indicating LED's), source selection, mute, source grouping, power on/off, and IR pass-through for wireless control of the sources. Bass and treble adjustments can now easily be made from the front of the keypad by pressing a combination of the mute and source buttons simultaneously. A new All On feature has been added, allowing all zones to be linked and controlled by a master keypad for a party mode setting. One last valuable upgrade to the Essentia system is the inclusion of a Universal Learning Remote in the package that comes already setup for control of the Essentia system. The learning remote has a learning capacity for control of up to six additional source devices and comes pre-programmed with over 1,000 manufacturer codes. Other devices can be learned and multiple remotes can be used within one system for maximum wireless control. The convenience of one controller for all your audio components and the new keypad features are welcome value add-ons to the Essentia V.2 system package and present no change to current MSRP.
