Vogel's introduces the EMO range of remote controlled LCD/Plasma stands (14/6/2007)

Vogel's, market leader in the field of innovative supports for audio/video equipment is pleased to announce the launch of EMO(tm) LCD / Plasma stands. Emo is short for Electronic Motion. Consumers can now enjoy their flatscreen TV in more comfort and style with Vogel's EMO(tm) family of remote controlled TV stands. It lets them turn the TV screen to the optimum viewing angle without having to get out of their chair. Vogel's is leading the way with these EMO(tm) stands which are technologically advanced, stylish and robust, but also very affordable for the average consumer with only a 150 Euro upgrade, compared to the manual version).

Advanced Electronics

EMO(tm) uses a specially designed advanced electronic motor, resulting in a powerful yet smooth and silent movement. The small size of the motor also means the EMO(tm) stands are just as elegant as their existing manual counterparts. The included remote control features a convenient Auto Home function : after TV viewing, pressing this button on the remote returns the stand to its original position.

Stylish and robust

EMO(tm) products feature a stylish, yet robust design. The EMO(tm) product range is constructed of solid steel and high-grade polished aluminium alloy frames. Also included is the Vogel's patented Cable Inlay System (CIS(r)) to hide unsightly cables and comes with a five-year guarantee on the product (2 years on electronic parts).

The EMO range

At this moment, the EMO(tm) family consists of 3 products : the EFFE 1140 RC, a floor stand that fits most flat screen TVs from 25 to 42 inch/ 63-105 cm. It comes with a sturdy multi-support shelf that can hold a DVD player, hard disc recorder and/or set-top box. The EFTE 2240 RC table stand fits most medium flat screen TV's from 25'' to 40''/ 63-105 cm, while the EFTE 2265 RC table stand fits most large flat screen TVs from 41" to 65"/ 103-163 cm. The range will be expanded with products such as remote controlled wall mounts in the future.

Manual versions

Manual versions of the floor- and table stand are still available. The manual version of the popular EFF 1140 floorstand currently comes in silver. A new black version of this stand will be introduced in June 2007.

Availability

Products out of the EMO(tm) product series are available from €399,00 onwards and will be in the shops from early Summer 2007.
