Middle Atlantic Products Introduces New IEC Power Cords (14/6/2007)

Underscoring its commitment to providing application-driven design for efficient cable and power management within an integrated enclosure system, Middle Atlantic Products today introduced its new IEC Power Cords. Designed so that custom residential integrators can maximize real estate within any size enclosure, the new IEC Power Cords can replace standard component power cords to provide a shorter cord path and a cleaner, more efficient back of rack that is easy to service.

IEC Power Cords allow custom residential integrators to choose a specific cord length when connecting components to a power strip, effectively shortening cable runs within an enclosure and eliminating excess cable slack, unnecessary cable loops and the possibility of damaging cable kinks. IEC Power Cords also prevent system noise from stray AC magnetic fields.

Jay Franetovich, Application Engineer, Middle Atlantic Products said, "Without proper cable management in an enclosure system, vital wires are susceptible to damage and servicing those wires in the future can be challenging. The simple solutions that we offer are easy to install, prolong the lifespan of cables and save valuable time and energy in the long run."

Available in packs of four, IEC Power Cords are color coded to eliminate confusion when installing and servicing rack components, and are available in lengths of 6", 12", 18", 24" and 36".
