News SpeakerCraft announces UK debut of the AIM 'DT' series in-ceiling loudspeakers at CEDIA UK Expo (1/6/2007) Stand C5, CEDIA UK Expo 2007 SpeakerCraft, the world leader in custom installed audio products, announces the UK show debut of an aim-able ceiling speaker, capable of generating a wide stereo sound stage from a single unit. Bathrooms, hallways and other walk-through areas are places where music would be welcome but for space limitations or the added cost of installing multiple speakers. SpeakerCraft's 7" and 8" AIM DT models address this challenge by reproducing great sounding stereo from a single speaker while offering the added convenience and performance of pivoting drivers. Utilising the pivoting bass driver design that distinguishes SpeakerCraft's AIM models, the AIM 7 DT and AIM 8 DT series speakers incorporate a dual voice coil bass driver, which combines left and right channels. Their dual tweeters are mounted on a pivoting WavePlane(tm) baffle, which helps to create a wide and even stereo sound. The AIM 7DT Three houses a 7" dual voice coil aluminium bass driver and two 1" aluminium tweeters, while the AIM 7DT One uses a 7" dual voice coil polypropylene bass driver and two 1" soft dome tweeters. The AIM 8DT Three houses an 8" dual voice coil aluminium bass driver and two 1" aluminium tweeters, while the AIM 8DT One uses an 8" dual voice coil polypropylene bass driver and two 1" soft dome tweeters. The AIM DT models offer the practical ingenuity of the original DT models combined with the performance and facility of directed sound. Availability: Immediate
