News Audio Authority Launches New Products at CEDIA Expo 2007 (31/5/2007) Stand G21, CEDIA UK Expo 2007 Audio Authority will be displaying its AVAtrix system at CEDIA Expo this June and will be launching two new products. The Audio Authority series of HDMI splitters and switches are amongst the first in Europe to be fully HDCP compliant, and capable of being 'daisy-chained' to give multiple HD signal outputs. The Audio Authority 9871 is a '1 in 6' out amp, capable of being connected to up to 6 1176 Matrix Routers & the Audio Authority Wallplate system, giving up to 42 outlets. Connections are Component Video, Digital Audio and Analogue Audio. This makes it ideal for showing the same HD content at multiple locations.
The Audio Authority AVAtrix system is a complete system designed for installers looking to distribute High Definition signals from a central location. AVAtrix keeps all the wiring clutter out of sight and delivers pristine HD signals wherever needed. AVAtrix includes a unique IR router which allows signals to be returned from separate Wallplates such that only the source currently routed to that Wallplate, and its output, is controlled. Further, balanced line technology allows superior noise rejection and excellent picture quality. The AVAtrix system handles up to six High Definition sources distributing signals to six remote wall plates which then make direct connection with local displays. AVAtrix makes it easy to view any source on any video display at any time. The AVAtrix provides DVI (or HDMI with adapter) and component video connection of sources and distributes pristine, loss free HD pictures and digital and analogue sound signals up to 1,000 feet linking with convenient wallplates mounted where televisions are located. The system allows easy integration of component video and DVI sources so that TV inputs don't have to be switched; both analogue and digital sources are available on the local DVI output. The whole system is expandable via as many as 36 remote wallplate outputs. Whether the customer be a homeowner, a business owner seeking to exploit digital signage or a retailer wanting to demonstrate HDTV, all an installer needs to do is plug in the required sources, link Cat 5 cabling to the screens and connect with the necessary numbers of wallplates. Then the system can be handed over enabling the client to choose the signal he wants to use.
