A+K defines true Home Cinema with double feature at CEDIA Expo (29/5/2007)

A+K Home is preparing to raise the curtain at this year's CEDIA Expo to reveal not only a stand showcasing the very latest additions to the A+K Portfolio but also a private cinema room in which visitors can experience High Definition 1080p true Home Cinema quality. With the Excel Centre in the Docklands playing host to the event for the second year running, A+K is already securely anchored in the minds of discerning Home Cinema customers. The Expo always provides A+K with the opportunity to showcase its portfolio of high quality Home Cinema solutions which this year include 1080p projectors from Mitsubishi and JVC, along with the first projection screen surface designed specifically for 1080p projectors and source material from Stewart Filmscreen.

A leader in the development of power purification products, Furman, will use the A+K stand as a platform from which to debut new ranges of power conditioners and voltage regulators, developed to protect equipment and provide noise free and flawless performance within a Home Cinema setting. Exclusively available in the UK from A+K, the new products boast enhanced features to meet the demands of Home Cinema enthusiasts by ensuring not only the safeguard of Home Cinema investments but also enhanced performance of private cinema systems. This year marks the 60 year anniversary of Stewart Filmscreen and, as always, the Company is working hand in hand with A+K to bring revolutionary products to the Expo. Stewart, who are widely recognised for setting standards within the Home Cinema industry, have recently introduced the next generation of their most popular screen - the FireHawk G3 1080p. This is the first screen surface designed specifically for 1080p projectors and will be out to impress (twice!), in the A+K private cinema room where it will be partnered with the Mitsubishi HC5000 full High Definition 1080p projector and the HD1 DLA High Definition projector from JVC. The private cinema promises to captivate visitors with inspirational quality and highly defined images provided by these superior high definition product pairings which are available exclusively from A+K. Demonstrations of how and why Stewart projection screen masking works will also take place throughout the 3-day event on the A+K stand.

A+K will also be using the Expo to introduce a new cable management system from SMS to the Home Cinema market. Smart Media Solutions recognises the importance of only seeing what matters and with this at the forefront of their thinking, they have designed a product which allows as many as three SCART cables and one net cable to be neatly tucked out of the way.
