Planet Waves Announces Ni Series Cable and Connectors (10/5/2007)

High-Spec, Affordably Priced-and Two New "Dream Connectors" for Installers

Planet Waves is pleased to announce the introduction of the Ni Series of Cables and Connectors. Available at reduced cost, when compared to the acclaimed HD Series, Ni Series offer the same application benefits and is available in popular contemporary cable and connector styles. In addition, new connector options address the concerns of installers working in tight-fit environments or when dealing with seemingly incompatible components.

The Ni Series includes a selection of popular products-single, dual and triple conductor cable, 3- and 5-wire bundled RGB cables, RCA, BNC, and F connectors. Features include nickel-plated connectors for clear signal conductivity, single-shielded coax cable for audio/video, and low cost options ideal for pre-wiring audio and cable TV applications. In addition, the Planet Waves Ni Series has responded to the needs of installers with the introduction of right-angle connectors, both RCA and BNC. Installers will welcome these in cramped quarters: For example, when attempting to wire up a plasma TV set against a brick wall, the new right-angle connector facilitates a positive connection without contorting key components-as is the case with straight-on connectors/cables.

Furthermore, the new Planet Waves Ni Series push-on F connector is another customer-driven innovation, with a large percentage of requests coming from international clients. Some cable and satellite boxes lack standard threaded or screw-on F connector terminals. These devices, ordinarily perceived as incompatible, will now accept the smooth, push-on F connector.
