LG Electronics (LG), a global leader in consumer electronics and communications, today announced its new LCD monitor series, FLATRON M8W, in Europe starting this month. LG FLATRON M8W series - FLATRON M198WA (19-inch), M208WA (20-inch) and M228WA (22-inch) - are widescreen monitor TVs that are optimised for HD content and feature easy connectivity.

Additionally, FLATRON M8W series provides the best picture quality currently available today, ensuring life-like content delivery. With 1440 x 900 resolution for the 19-inch model and 1680 x 1050 resolution for the 20- and 22-inch editions, LG FLATRON M8W series offers an industry-leading 3000:1 contrast ratio and 5ms response time. These features allow users to play graphically intense action games or movies on the screen with minimal, if any, ghosting effect. Digital Fine Contrast Raito (DFC) technology produces images so clear and sharp they seem to jump off the screen, giving users a more lifelike experience. DFC technology better shows fast-moving images no matter how dark or light.

A DVI input, TV tuner, built-in speaker (3W x 2) and a 170/170 viewing angle make this HD ready monitor versatile yet highly functional. In addition, FLATRON M8W series monitors are Windows Vista Premium certified and are the perfect way to fully experience its robust user interface.
