A+K and Stewart relationship goes from strength to strength (20/4/2007)

Celebrating 60 years as industry leader in precision projection technology, Stewart Filmscreen continues to supply custom made, seamless screens of the very highest quality to a vast range of environments in which there is a requirement for a unique combination of technical excellence and superior craftsmanship. The family owned and operated corporation is the foremost large screen display developer in the world and, through sole UK distributor A+K, supplies superior screen ranges to UK based Home Cinema, business and simulation customers.

A+K is in the enviable position of being able to work hand in hand with Stewart in delivering the unmatched image accuracy and quality excellence synonymous with Stewart products. Over the past 10 years, the relationship has gone from strength to strength as a trust has developed between the two companies. A+K and Stewart attribute much of their success to the fact that they are constantly aiming at the same goal, namely to provide only the very best, most advanced projection screen solutions which meet, and often exceed, individual customer requirements. A+K does not take this level of responsibility lightly as they work closely with the whole team at Stewart to continually promote the unmatched image accuracy and quality excellence to the UK.

The screen is the centrepiece of the Home Cinema and the forward-thinking Stewart engineers are ensuring that product quality is continually rising. Award winning Stewart is justifiably positioned at the forefront of screen technology. Stewart are well-known for setting standards within the Home Cinema industry to which other screen manufacturers aspire. One such benchmark has recently been set with the launch of Stewarts' FireHawk G3 1080p projection screen-the first projection surface specifically engineered for 1080p projectors and source material.

60 years of experience has taught Stewart that within a business setting, presentation is everything and, as with all Stewart products, the unique demands of customers are constantly being met. Last year saw the launch of StarGlas(r) - a rear projection glass screen that can be installed in places in which it has never been possible to install a screen-until Stewart took up the challenge. StarGlas(r) is the world's first precision projection screen designed for architectural use and features an industry first precision projection technology pioneered by Stewart.

With guaranteed products and a history of leadership in large screen manufacturing, Stewart is also firmly positioned as the premier choice in projection screen display technology for the simulation industry. Screens can be made to exact customer specifications and can accommodate most simulation projects. Stewart supplies the most advanced front and rear projection screens using diffusion, optical lens and light pipe technologies. A+K Managing Director Derek Kuziw is proud to have Stewart forming part of the A+K portfolio of industry-respected manufacturers. The established relationship between the companies has proved to be fruitful. He is particularly pleased about how sales of screens being sold for simulation applications have progressed and recently said "The simulation market is appreciating the quality of the Stewart flexible and rigid seamless rear projection materials which has resulted in some large projects in recent months"
