News OmniMount Lifts Racks to New Heights with Moda and Tria Wall Furniture (24/3/2007) The latest line-ups from respected furniture manufacturer OmniMount offer a novel twist on conventional designs, raising the engineering bar for racks and stands, by literally taking them off the floor completely. The new Tria and Moda ranges free up much needed premium floor space by placing the flat panel screen and any accompanying electronics on the wall. It is a convenient, compact solution, which also hides any unsightly cables and wires thanks to an integrated cable management system. And whether you choose Tria or Moda, the result is always striking, as both designs are visually pleasing, whatever environment they are in. Flexibility is also to the fore, with the Tria's three tempered glass being fully adjustable and Moda being of modular construction, while the designs work just as well without a screen. And as ever with OmniMount, beneath the delicate, discriminating design is something of a brute. A high strength to weight ratio means the Moda wall furniture can withhold up to nearly 20kg or 40lbs per shelf. Despite such remarkable features neither range will break the bank. For ease-of-installation there is a template to follow. Rugged aluminium construction and included wall stud and masonry mounting hardware secure the modular furniture system. Ease-of-use and simplistic self installation techniques are incorporated into the design, offering less wear and tear, resulting in long-term reliability and makes for quicker installations, a benefit to both the do-it-yourself consumer and the professional installer. Moreover, as there is no need to route the cables through the wall, the Wall Furniture Systems provides immediate access to all cable and components in the need to service or repair any electrical equipment. The three-strong Moda Wall Furniture system comprises the MWFS - a cascading two shelf design; the MWF8 - a 20cm wall panel with shelf: and the MWF16 - a 40cm wall panel with shelf.
