High End 2007 - The Leading Trade Fair for Outstanding Stereo, TV and Home Cinema Equipment (13/3/2007)

The HIGH END(R) - Europe's largest trade fair for perfect consumer electronics with growing exhibition areas, a constantly high number of exhibitors and increasing internationality

Data and facts

At the HIGH END(R) 2007 we can welcome again over 200 exhibitors on approximately 15,000 square metres with roughly 600 brands. Compared with the previous year, the exhibition area has been extended by 1,000 square metres. Already the share of foreign firms has risen to 28 % in total which equals an increase by 3 %, compared with the previous year. To our pleasure more and more exhibitors keep coming from the neighbouring countries of France, England, Italy, Austria and Switzerland, because according to their statements, the HIGH END(R) is regarded as the central leading trade fair in Europe.

The Technology Stage

The "Technology Stage" will be here this year as well. As in the past, it will be available for exhibitors in Hall 1 to present special reports on new products, new developments and their own solutions. You'll learn about the latest trends, customised solutions and industry-specific services from the many reports which will be offered as part of the scheduled lecture programme. You can participate in 20-minute product presentations and take part in workshops lasting up to one hour. And they're free of charge for all trade fair visitors. The main topics and exact times for the lecture and presentation programme have not yet been announced.

The Software Village

This year as well, any hunters and gatherers amongst our visitors will have an opportunity to discover and purchase select audio equipment in the Software Village at hall 3.

Family ticket and nursery

For the first time we offer a special tariff for families with kids. The "family ticket" (2 adults and up to 3 children) is available on all public days for only 20 Û. Families can therefore enjoy the fair notably on Sunday, which is traditionally reserved for the family. In addition there will also be a nursery with professional minders, so that even families with little children can have the opportunity to visit the fair.

The HIGH END: a synthesis of Classic and Modern
From world enterprises to fine small-scale manufacturers, everything under one roof.

Besides large reputed companies, we are especially happy that the number of small high-grade manufacturers among this year's exhibitors has gone up strongly again. It is just through their participation that the HIGH END(R) gets its multi-faceted profile. Apart from the repeating product ranges, the individual works of true specialists will be shown, too, and the devices are simply not all "as like as two peas". So as usual, the visitors to the fair can inform themselves about the latest technologies such as hightech loudspeakers, invisible wall- or ceiling-mounted speakers, digital tuners with electronic programme magazines, wireless multi-room music systems, different audio data formats like SACD or DVD, modern digital players and multi-channel demonstrations integrating picture and sound, yet also admire artful turntables or softly glowing valves. Thus the HIGH END(R) builds the ideal, exciting bridge between all high-quality products.

There will be a special day again for trade visitors

On May 17th 2007 the fair will be open only to trade visitors.
