News Naim Launches the SUPERNAIT Super Integrated Amplifier with on-board DAC (7/3/2007) The Naim SUPERNAIT was officially launched at the Sound & Vision Show Bristol February 23-25th 2007. SUPERNAIT has a retail price of £2350 inc. VAT. SUPERNAIT, the latest addition to Naim's reference series, can deliver a stunningly realistic performance from its compact case. It can deliver 80 watts per channel, it can drive difficult loads, but it also brings flexibility and convenience. Want to add a power supply to upgrade the performance? You can. Want to add a subwoofer? You can. Want to quickly connect an analogue or digital source via the front panel? You can. In addition to six analogue inputs the SUPERNAIT includes five digital inputs with a Digital to Analogue converter accepting sampling rates between 32kHz and 96kHz. The digital inputs can be either an optical Toslink(r) (3), as might be used to connect a computer, or Coax (2). The optical digital inputs are ideal for connection to a computer or other digital source with perhaps a dirtier than normal power supply as optical connection isolates the two separate grounds. "A serious addition to the Naim range" Doug Graham, Naim's sales manager commented "Big, powerful and agile with a super DAC on board. SUPERNAIT connects you with the music and the boys' toys." Key Features á 80 Watts per Channel into 8 Ohms
