A+K Home signs exclusive agreement to distribute new Mitsubishi HC5000 1080p projector

A+K Home is pleased to announce that it has recently gained sole rights to distribute the new Mitsubishi HC5000 high definition 1080p Home Cinema projector to UK dealers. The launch of the HC5000 brings a true cinema experience to a wider audience thanks to an impressive combination of inspirational picture quality and technologically advanced features coupled with an affordability which has the potential to set a new benchmark in the Home Cinema industry.

Equipped with the latest LCD technology and high quality video (HQV) performance processor, the HC5000 offers a true 1920 x 1080 resolution for high definition detail in film, sports and general viewing. It has also been designed to be compatible with the latest Blu-ray and HD ready technology products.

The HC5000 has been introduced as an affordable yet fully featured Home Cinema solution that benefits from up to 5000 hours of lamp life to help keep overall running costs low, a powered horizontal and vertical lens shift that makes it extremely easy to set up in a majority of room sizes without any loss of picture quality, as well as a host of picture enhancing technologies.

Benefiting from 1000 ANSI lumens of brightness, an auto-iris function which automatically adjusts the level of light projection in the picture being screened and an amazing contrast ratio of 10,000:1, the HC5000 produces full detailed images even in the darkest areas; in addition the use of 3LCD technology ensures that images are both bright and realistic. The new LCD panels used are more durable then traditional types, producing consistently high images, and the LCD optical engine is fully enclosed to help prevent dust particles from settling on the engine, which keeps the image clean.

Equipped with HDMI and DVI connectors, the HC5000 is easily connected to a DVD player or other image source without losing any picture quality. Furthermore for operation ease the HC5000 comes with a trigger terminal that has been designed to link the projector and a motor driven screen, which will move up/down when the projector is in use, as well as an illuminating remote control which is ideal for use in a darkened room.
