PFW 3200 series looks stylish, hinders theft and simplifies installation

Vogel's Professional, Europe's leading supplier of mounting solutions for audio-visual equipment, has launched a new range of wall supports for medium-sized LCD and plasma displays. The stylish PFW 3200 supports are designed for 23- to 32-inch flat displays, sizes that have become increasingly popular for point-of-sale, point-of-information and infotainment applications. The new range comprises models with one, two or three pivot points for optimal positioning flexibility. It also offers increased security thanks to discreet padlocks (supplied) and special 'theft-delaying' fixing screws.

Built-in security features

The switchover to flat displays is opening up more possibilities for smaller screen sizes, particularly in public areas where CRT displays or larger flat screens would be impractical. Typical applications include department stores, restaurants, retailers, pharmacists and gyms. Hotels are also upgrading from CRT-based displays used primarily for entertainment to flat displays that enable interactive services such as Internet, video games and video-on-demand. In all these applications, the PFW 3200 series of wall supports provide a stylish mounting solution with the added benefit of theft delaying features. A discreet black padlock is included with each support and fixing screws require a special Allen key to further delay theft.

A choice of one-, two- or three pivot points

There are three models in the range, starting with the basic PFW 3220 wall-mounted display with lockable turn and tilt adjustment. Next up is the PFW 3230, which incorporates a 33 cm long extension arm for wider viewing angle adjustment. The most versatile model is the PFW 3240, which features two pivoted extension arms (total 56 cm long), facilitating positioning around a corner and symmetrical movement perpendicular to the wall. As truly universal solutions, the supports comply with the 100x100 and 200x100 Vesa mounting standards, and include strips for the Vesa 200x200 mounting standard. Maximum load is 32 kg (70 lbs).
