InAVation Awards'07 Succesfully Kicks off ISE 2007 (9/2/2007)

The inaugural EMEA InAVation Awards evening took place on Monday 29th January with over 210 of the global AV industry's elite kicking off Integrated Systems Europe in superb style at the Hilton Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Technology & Project Winners Announced

7639 individual industry votes from over 60 countries were registered on the dedicated awards web site to decide the eventual winners of each of the eleven Technology InAVation categories. The winners were:

1. Most InAVative Audio product for Commercial Use (Non Loudspeaker).
Winner: Beyerdynamic GmbH - Revoluto

2. Most InAVative Audio product for Residential Use (Non Loudspeaker).
Winner: Crestron International - Adagio

3. Most InAVative Video signal processing & management product for Commercial Use.
Winner: Grass Valley - Indigo AV Mixer

4. Most InAVative Video signal processing & management product for Residential Use.
Winner: Extron Electronics - IN1508

5. Most InAVative Loudspeaker product for Commercial use.
Winner: Tannoy Ltd - CMS401DCe

6. Most InAVative Loudspeaker product for Residential use.
Winner: Kef Audio (UK) Ltd - Fivetwo Series

9. Most InAVative Control product for Commercial Use.
Winner: Stardraw Ltd - Stardraw Control

10. Most InAVative Control product for Residential Use.
Winner: AMX - Mio Modero R4 Remote

11. Most InAVative AV accessory (Commercial & Residential).
Winner: D-Tools Inc - System Integrator 5

64 project entries were submitted and were evaluated by an independent panel of judges taken from the AV integration, Architectural, Building and Facilities Management industries. 20 companies made it through as finalists with the chance of winning one of five Project InAVation awards. The winners were:

1. Most InAVative Commercial Project (Small-Medium)
Winner: Electrosonic Ltd-Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum-England

2. Most InAVative Residential Project (Small-Medium)
Winner: BaSys & Media Control-iDOM-Slovakia

3. Most InAVative Rental & Staging Project
Winner: XL Video - Marco Borsato "Symphonica in Rosso" -The Netherlands

4. Most InAVative Residential Project (Large)
Winner: ILife Solutions-Savoy Court Penthouse- England

5. Most InAVative Commercial Project (Large)
Winner: iVC Ltd- Welsh Assembly-Wales
