The world of AV furniture has always seen significant change, essentially being pulled by the technology the furniture accommodates. Slide projectors, OHP's, Video's, and now the CRT TV; these are all pieces of equipment that have been quickly replaced by radical new alternatives. The transition from CRT to LCD/Plasma has been incredibly swift, and AV furniture manufacturers must keep up with that pace.

Metroplan have embraced this change, and launched an integrated range of furniture to accommodate the latest equipment and compliment the modern working environment.

The Secure family of cabinets have been very successful in their TV form, but have been totally redesigned for the new applications that LCD presents. The lockable cabinets can now house computer equipment, have slide out shelves for keyboard and mouse, and adaptable storage for DVD's, CD's etc...

The Secure range has various size options to match the users' precise application and environment, but all feature the same contemporary design. All models are finished in either beech with grey framework, or anthracite with silver framework.

The all new LCD/Plasma stand is feature packed with integrated cable management, fully height adjustable shelves, and a height and tilt adjustable mounting plate. A unique feature of the Metroplan stand is the IR lockable cabinet, which enables a DVD player to still be fully functional even when locked away. This tamperproof design is ideal for public areas such as hotels, schools, colleges, and exhibition halls.

Mobile Multi Media cabinets are proving incredibly popular for multi room applications, as all your presentation equipment can be housed in a lockable secure cabinet and simply wheeled from room to room. This eliminates the wasted time in setting up and breaking down equipment from event to event. The MM90 from Metroplan has 4 slide out shelves and a lockable removable rear access door simplifying connectivity and set up. The MM90 is available in beech, anthracite or grey finish, to compliment any environment.
