News CinemaTech Introduces Three New Act I Incliners Designed for Home Theater Comfort, Luxury, Style (8/2/2007) Integrated Systems Europe 2007 Custom-Friendly Espada, Vantage and Azzurro Seating Redefines Viewers' Pleasure Zones with High Tech Features and Elegant Design CinemaTech, manufacturer of the industry's finest luxury Home Theater seating, will be introducing three new Home Theater incliners - the Espada, Vantage and Azzurro - to its premium Act I line of theater seating. CinemaTech's new Act 1 incliners provide an extraordinarily comfortable viewing experience in a German-engineered steel chassis. Employing a seating platform produced from rolled steel and constructed with two offset tiers of sinuous, hand-assembled wire springs, the Espada, Vantage and Azzurro promise a lifetime of responsive support and durability. The Espada presents CinemaTech's legendary steel frame in a soft contemporary style ideal for extended viewing, and upholstered in the finest European leathers. The Vantage, with the profile of a soft Cubic Classic, is also designed for extra comfort and added styling. The Azzurro is an Italian-style incliner that combines softness and boldness, strength and extra comfort. All are built to enjoy, and to last. While their styles vary, all three seats share CinemaTech's advanced seating technology, developed through years of hands-on experience. Key features include the patented Lusch Mechanism, a telescoping device that allows the footrest to fit neatly beneath the seat, creating a smooth, well-styled line; an exclusive Pneumatic Mechanism that provides super smooth, non-motorized operation with infinite lockable positions; and Valdalpone LongLife Leathers, an exclusive process uniquely able to protect without affecting the leather's "hand." The seats boast a wide standard width of 24 inches to comfortably accommodate everyone in the family, a new curved backboard equal to arm height, a big bolt armrest, and a dual-layer back cushion. Steel is used throughout all three models, providing maximum structural integrity. While most seats are built on a wood frame that weakens over time, sacrificing comfort and durability, CinemaTech seats use a full steel chassis, like an expensive automobile, for unparalleled strength, support and durability. The Espada, Vantage and Azzurro also use heavy steel springs to minimize reflection, or bounce, while maximizing support and comfort. To insure proper placement, each coil is hand-tied to the others during manufacture, assuring owners of long-term comfort and durability. Unlike other seats that partly block speaker sound with bulky headrests, the new Act I Incliners feature CinemaTech's Articulating Headrest, an infinitely adjustable design that ensures maximum acoustical benefit without compromising personal comfort and neck support, even in full recline. All three seats include CinemaTech's standard 3/8-horsepower motor rated for 3,000 pounds of torque, and are available as stand-alone single chairs, loveseats and three-seat sofas. Clients may also create their own configurations by joining CinemaTech seats into straight and/or curved rows using a variety of middle elements such as straight arms, wedges, and a control arm with a sliding table. Additional options available for each seat include contrast piping, color blocking (multiple leathers) and an extended footrest. The new Espada, Vantage and Azzurro Incliners will be available from authorized CinemaTech dealers at prices up to $5,900, when upholstered with CinemaTech's highest grade of leather (representing the top 10 percent of all leathers available worldwide) - and under $4,000 for seats covered with Customer Owned Material or Leather (COM/COL). Prices may vary depending on the configuration of rows, and the selection of inner arms and optional custom features.
