SpeakerCraft shows luxury home theatre range at ISE 2007 (17/1/2007)

SpeakerCraft, America's original manufacturer of in-wall speakers presents Tantra, a range of luxury in-wall, on-wall and subwoofer speakers for home theatre applications. Utilizing the best materials, technology and thirty years of experience in speaker design, Tantra is poised to elevate standards of performance in home theatre installations around the world.

Tantra in-wall speakers

Designed to appeal to the most discerning customers sonically and aesthetically, the three new Tantra in-wall loudspeakers feature esoteric drivers and cross-over components. The largest model, Tantra 8 LCR uses a system of two 8" woofers, two 4" midrange drivers and a 1" aluminium dome tweeter. The Tantra 6 LCR features two 6.5" woofers and a 1" aluminium dome tweeter. Both models are designed for left, centre or right positions. For rear channel applications, the Tantra Dipole uses two 6.5" woofers and two 1" aluminium dome tweeters.

A great deal of design effort was focused on the Tantra enclosures, which provide a sonically neutral enclosure for each driver fabricated from materials optimised for in-wall use. This advanced cabinet structure, coupled with the finest available driver components from the world's best audiophile manufacturers, provides Tantra with the sonic accuracy and high sound pressure levels required by the finest home theatre systems.
