AMX Presents its Latest Control and Digital Content
Management Systems (22/12/2006)
Stand C30 & F60, Integrated Systems Europe 2007
AMX, world leader in the design and manufacture
of advanced residential and commercial automated control systems,
will be presenting the latest developments of its control and digital
content management systems alongside its newly integrated range
of media distribution products at ISE 2007.
The latest media distribution technology
products have been incorporated into the AMX range, following the
acquisition of three leading companies in the audiovisual distribution
field: Endeleo, a UK-based manufacturer of TV and multi-format media
distribution technologies; AutoPatch, a manufacturer of high performance
audio/video (A/V) signal switching and distribution equipment; and
Matrix Audio Designs, Inc., a Canadian-based manufacturer of high-quality,
multi-room distributed audio systems.
Endeleo's managed television and multi-format
media distribution systems allow organisations in a variety of vertical
markets, such as business, education, government, retail and entertainment,
to simultaneously deliver broadcast and video content to multiple
display devices throughout a single building or across a campus.
AutoPatch, with more than 4,000 switching
and distribution products, can be found in all of the 14 vertical
markets in which AMX operates. AutoPatch, like AMX, designs its
products with military and medical applications in mind, as both
require highly-reliable, no fail systems.
Matrix solutions integrate multiple music
sources - from AM/FM tuners and satellite receivers to CD and MP3
players - into one, easy-to-use system that can be accessed from
anywhere in the home. The company's product portfolio includes multi-source
audio controllers, audio zone expanders, stereo amplifiers, architectural
speakers, keypads and remotes. All of these products are designed
to work in tandem to create an overall user-friendly experience.
Products from all three companies' portfolios
will be shown operating with AMX NetLinx controllers, Modero touch
screen panels and handheld remotes, and MAX multimedia servers.
The most recent advances in these product
ranges on show will include a new range of intercom-equipped Modero
touch panel control units with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
technology; ZigBee(tm)-powered Mio Modero R-3 and R-4 handheld wireless
remotes that provide total control of a home's electrical devices
from a single handheld remote control; and AMX's next-generation,
full-feature lighting family - the Radia Eclipse(tm) Series, which
makes configuring, integrating and installing lighting with AMX
control systems easier than ever.
