Unicam Europe Shows Range of Audio Authority Residential and In Store Cat5 Video Distribution Products (19/12/2006)

Unicam Europe will be displaying the range of Audio Authority residential and in store Cat5 video distribution products along with the multi award winning AVAtrix system. The AVAtrix Home Theater Routing System makes it easy to view any source from any video display at any time. The system uses Cat 5 cable to distribute six HD sources to six remote Wallplate locations, plus it makes a direct connection to a local display. Pristine HD picture, digital and analog sounds are delivered up to 1000 feet from the source over a pair of Cat 5 cables. The Audio Authority products can also be used for Digital Signage and Narrowcasting.

Interactive touch screens: the interface of the future

On show will be the Interactive Retail Demonstration & Security System. This system can Demonstrate all manner of consumer electronic items and has - All units connected to an alarm and secured with heavy-duty cables & connections.

LIVE PRODUCTS - All products are on charge so customers can handle live working products. Camera or camcorder pictures can be displayed on the screen & printed out.

PRODUCT INFORMATION - All product descriptions are stored and are displayed on the touchscreen when a customer picks-up the unit. Features are explained & items can be compared. Products can be 'sold-up'& accessories can be suggested.

MARKETING INFORMATION - Customers can insert their mobile phone number and have product information sent to their mobile as a text message. These numbers can then be stored for future marketing, promotions, events or offers.

REMOTE ACCESS - can report the usage data of the display, showing product interests and customer concentration.

System can be remotely monitored.
