Silent Gliss' New Electric Curtain Track Systems Offer Silent Power and Convenience (27/11/2006)

The new electric curtain track systems Silent Gliss 5400 and 5420.

Being the first company to motorise a direct drive curtain track with belt operation and with more than 50 years of worldwide experience, Silent Gliss sets with its 5th generation of electric curtain tracks again a new standard.

Its new top class low voltage motor 9020 (for 90-260V AC power feed), combined with the proven and further finetuned track system, stands for unmatched silence,

The Tracks: Single channel (5400) or dual channel (5420)

The manual override facility in the System 5420 is helpful for applications where there is a high risk that the curtain is operated unfamiliar users which could cause product damage (hotels, etc.). This facility also allows the opening of the curtain in the event of a power failure and emergency.

The Motor: 9020 - with or without integrated radio receiver.

The power supply unit/transformer, as well as the radio receiver (optional) are built into the motor. On site wiring is reduced to a minimum.

The new motors follow common wiring standards and meet the world wide applied standards ETL/UL, EC/IECEE-CB, CCC.

Control: Mains switched or radio control.

The soft start/soft stop function and an automatic obstacle detection are just two features to improve the convenience of these motors in daily use. Operation can by by mains switch or with the Silent Gliss 0450 Radio Control system.

The open design of the new motor offers easy access to its comprehensive applications and it can be fully integrated into building management systems.
