cinemateq optical HDMI cables for HDTV signals up to 1080p (23/11/2006)

The new optical cinemateq HDMI cables with an external power supply offer the ideal requirements for qualitative demanding use in home cinema. The loss-free signal transmission is a definite advantage of optical lines, which can not even be influenced by electromagnetic disturbances (for example by power cables). Installed quick and simple, they are entirely capable of HDCP and guarantee an ideal transmission quality in lengths up to 100m.

Up to 100m length without signal reduction.

With its optical cable solutions, cinemateq offers solutions with which a HDMI (or DVI via an adapter) signal can be transmitted loss-free over a distance of up to 100m(!). The HDMI signal is changed into an optical signal close to the cable connection, sent via fiber optics and changed back at the other end.

The top highlights:

¥ External power supply for 100% transmission quality ¥ Plug and play installation ¥ Maximal transmission quality, which is also appreciated in medical technology ¥ DDC signal and 5V control voltage are also transmitted ¥ Absolute loss-free transmission of the data signal (RGB & clock) and complete HDCP capability ¥ Unsusceptible to electromagnetic disturbances

The external power supply guarantees 100% transmission quality Ð especially for HDTV signals up to 1080p. Also, the partially weak signal reproduction quality which sometimes occurs in playback devices can be regenerated and amplified and therefore optimized by the additionally available power supply. The cinemateq HDMI cable are available in the following lengths 15m, 20m, 30m, 40m, 50m and 100m (custom lengths gladly on demand).

Optical DVI cables

If 'only' video contents are to be transmitted, the optical DVI cable solutions by cinemateq are ideal. As with the HDMI cables, the electric signals are changed into optical signals and transmitted by optical fiber. The installer fiber optical cables also offer the advantage that both cable plugs can be removed so that narrow cable ducts can also be used.
