dnp shows Supernova optical front projection screen (14/11/2006)

Stand H60, Integrated Systems Europe 2007

Showered with honours: Since its European introduction at Integrated Systems Europe last year, the dnp SupernovaTM Screen has received numerous awards and honourable citations. Now it makes a re-appearance at ISE 07, January 30 - February1st in Amsterdam, Holland.

The dnp Supernova Screen is the world's first optical front projection screen that makes it possible to use front projection in bright environments. It delivers an extraordinary ten times higher contrast and two times brighter images than standard front screens. This opens up vast new opportunities for display solutions in brightly lit conference rooms, Point of Sale (POS) environments and home entertainment applications. The outstanding optical qualities of the screen have won prestigious technology awards and were honoured at both InfoComm 2005 & 2006 and CES 2006 & 2007.

The standard front screen is traditionally associated with dark rooms, curtains and window blinds - often resulting in eyestrain and low audience concentration. The new Supernova Screen allows the presenter to achieve maximum effect in a brightly lit, ergonomically designed environment. And the home cinema enthusiast is no longer restricted to the confinements of dark rooms in the basement.

The dnp Supernova Screen is available in 4:3 and 16:9 format in sizes up to 120" - providing a greater visual experience than any flat panel display.

During ISE 07, the Supernova Screen will be demonstrated at the dnp stand # H60. At the stand, dnp denmark will also present a retractable version, the groundbreaking Supernova Flex Screen, as well as three high-end rear projection screens for meeting rooms, control rooms and Point of Sales displays: dnp New Wide Angle Screen(tm), dnp Sigma Screen(tm) and dnp Holo Screen(tm).
