LG Shows RH200MHS New Generation PVR and DVD Recorder (13/11/2006)

LG's EISA award-winning RH200MHS is the world's first Super Multi 250GB HDD built-in DVD recorder. It enables consumers to store up to 570 hours of their favourite TV programmes, movies and sport so they never miss out on the action.

The RH200MHS includes features that raise it head and shoulders above the competition; its intelligent recording system allows the user to record one item whilst watching another and a time-shifting feature enables viewers to pause and rewind live TV. For long term storage, programmes can be easily transferred from the hard drive to a disc at the touch of a button.

It complements the latest TVs and home theatres with Super Multi recording technology that supports all storage standards for DVD±R/DVD±RW, DVD-RAM and DVD+R to provide maximum flexibility for users. Thumbnail viewing allows users to edit and organise their viewing content so they can watch it whenever they want. A memory card reader enables easy download of images from a digital camera, which can then be stored on the hard drive or recorded onto disc. The memory card reader is compatible with MP3 and WMA files, so music can also be downloaded and played through the RH200MHS.

James Atkins, marketing manager from LG, comments; "The RH200MHS couldn't be easier for the consumer to use, it features LG's Super Multi recorder system meaning that it plays and records in all formats and as a multifunctional DVD product allows the user to have full flexibility over their TV viewing."
