LG Leads the Way in Plasma Technology with MW-71PY10 71 inch T elevision (13/11/2006)

LG Electronics (LG), a world leader in consumer electronics, ushers in the cream of the plasma screen crop for the ultimate home cinema experience; the MW-71PY10. The 71 inch television is the world's largest commercially available plasma screen.

This premium plasma screen is already a much sought after product and comes in two colour variants; black for the more discreet viewer and an opulent coating of 4 pounds of 24-carat gold for those looking to make a major statement.

The screen doesn't just look amazing, its performance lives up to the promise of its exterior. Key features of the super sized screen include full HD (1920 x 1080), the ultimate in HDTV. Furthermore the MW-71PY10 has both HDMI and SCART high quality connections between the screen and any other outputs such as a DVD recorder or home cinema system. Standard broadcast signals are also clearer with LG's exclusive XD Engine technology which improves colour, contrast and scaling which, coupled with DVI technology, results in picture quality of HD precision.

The MW-71PY10 also boasts an impressive 600W home cinema system for fantastic surround sound and integrated display facilities for viewing digital photos and MP3 track playback.

James Atkins, marketing manager from LG, comments; "This is one of our most eye-catching and desirable plasma screens, whether the user goes for striking gold or stylish black, the sumptuous plasma screen has high end styling and leading technology."
