Lutron Electronics Announces Availability of New
HomeWorks Software (25/10/2006)
CEDIA US Expo 2006
Lutron Electronics is pleased to announce
the availability of version 1.20 of its illumination software, used
to program its HomeWorks total home lighting control system.
The software has several new features to
simplify the installation and support of Lutron's newest products,
including the RF Sivoia QED(tm) roller 64 shade system and the HomeWorks
Maestro-style dimmer. Both of these products have built-in RF diagnostic
capabilities, which can be used in conjunction with the software
to determine the quality of the RF signal strength in the home.
Enhancements have also been made to the User
Preferences section, allowing simpler project customization, and
to the online help system, making it easier to answer questions.
The software also features upgraded support
for web-based control of a HomeWorks system. Images that can later
be embedded in web pages can be stored in a system's processor to
give the homeowner a more personalized experience when controlling
their system via a web browser.
The software download is available free of
charge to Lutron's Residential System Providers.
