CEDIA US Expo 2006

Company to Showcase Security, Structured Wiring and AV Distribution, Modulation & Control Offerings

Channel Vision, a leading provider of technology solutions for the WELL-CONNECTED HOME, today announced that it has added more than ten new products to its line. These include AV distribution, modulation and control, whole-house intercom, surveillance, structured wiring and expanded wall plate offerings. The company will showcase new products in all category lines at its booth #478.

Affinity(tm) Digital Cable Combiner

Channel Vision announces the Affinity Digital Cable Combiner (P-0321), its patent pending innovation to modulated video distribution over digital cable. Affinity enables the easy connection and modulation of multiple video sources distributed to a TV without the use of filters. Offering IR remote-based source switching, Affinity opens multiple channels for viewing or distributing DVD, satellite, surveillance camera feeds and other video sources. Affinity creates a future-proof solution that eliminates digital cable interference and the need for related callbacks. Affinity will be available beginning December 2006.

RF Modulators

Channel Vision's new E-Series RF Modulators allow multiple AV sources to be shared between a single TV. Its built-in IR engine powers up to 8 IR receivers, eliminating the need for power supplies at each TV location and providing remote control of AV functions from multiple rooms over existing coax cables. The E-Series RF Modulators are available in 2 (E2200IR), 3 (E3200IR), or 4 (E4200IR) input versions at an MSRP of $347, $473 and $499 respectively.

A-BUS* - Multi-Source/Multi-Zone Solutions

Channel Vision expands its line of A-BUS whole-house audio distribution with the addition of the P-1044 - 4-Source/4-Zone Matrix and AB-124 - Multi-Source Amplified Keypad. The P-1044 accommodates up to four standard and A-BUS source inputs to four household zones and offers both RJ-45 and 110 punch down connectors. It is easily expandable and can be linked to an A-BUS expansion hub to add more zones. Designed for mounting flexibility, the P-1044 can be easily installed in a structured wiring enclosure, standard equipment rack or on any flat surface.

The AB-124 is a multi-source amplified keypad that can be utilized with single or multi-source systems. It offers push button or IR volume level control, backlit blue volume buttons and blue LED indicators. The AB-124 provides four source selections and comes complete with White, Almond and Ivory wall plates. It is ideally paired with the P-1044. Both products will be available beginning early November 2006 at an MSRP of $558 for the P-1044 and $198 for the AB-124.

IR Distribution

The new IR-5000 All-in-One IR Hub and Receiver includes everything needed to create a 1-room IR repeating system. Providing four IR emitter outputs, plasma proof receiver, two double-headed IR flashers and power supply, the IR-5000 is an ideal IR system for controlling devices behind a cabinet door. Its versatile mounting accessories include a three-in-one receiver (tabletop, hole/bullet type, and miniature remote head), four IR emitter holsters and an IR receiver holster. The IR-5000 All-in-One Hub and Receiver will be available beginning early November 2006 at an MSRP of $125.00.
