Intermatic HomeSettings New Product Makes Home Controls One Step Easier (24/10/2006)

CEDIA US Expo 2006

Intermatic HomeSettings home controls line has added a new product to its already impressive roster, the new Screw-in Lamp Module (HA05C) which is being unveiled at CEDIA EXPO 2006 in Denver, Colorado, September 13-17, at booth #2004. The new module controls a variety of lighting options including coach lights, lampposts, floodlights and much more. The product is extremely simple to operate and easy-to-install. All Intermatic HomeSettings products come with a step-by-step, easy-to-follow guide and are compatible with all other Z-Wave enabled products.

"We are very excited about the continuing expansion of our HomeSettings product line and the Screw-In Lamp Module now makes home controls easier to integrate into any home," said Art Noparstak, a home controls expert with Intermatic, Inc. "Home controls is a growing industry and we are dedicated to maintaining our position as the industry leaders in affordable, easy to use home control products."

The Screw-In Lamp Module allows any user to conveniently control incandescent and compact fluorescent bulbs with a manual override function. The module can be used for both indoor and outdoor lighting needs allowing any homeowner to easily set up lighting in their entire home to be wirelessly controlled.

Intermatic is one of the many leading manufacturers who have integrated Z-Wave technology into their home control products. Z-Wave technology is a low-cost, two-way communications technology that enables consumers to monitor and manage different systems around their home. Each product is embedded with a powerful chip that allows signals to bounce from one control to another in order to provide the most efficient working path. Intermatic HomeSettings products are compatible with all other products using Z-Wave technology, including those made by Monster, Cisco Systems, Intel and Wayne Dalton.

"Our products are completely interoperable allowing consumers to start out with just a few products and add to them as their budget and needs allow," said Noparstak. "We've designed our products to be very user friendly so that even the least tech-savvy person can enjoy the benefits of our new module along with all of our HomeSettings products."
