D-Tools Teams with designecentral to Add New Functionality to System Integrator software (24/10/2006)

Resource and procurement solution will debut at CEDIA, enhances D-Tools' award-winning System Integrator

D-Tools, Inc. the worldwide leader in system integration software announced today that it will team up with former D-Tools Product Designer and President of designecentral, inc, Bill Battaglia to add resource allocation and procurement functionality to the next version of its award-winning System Integrator software.

designecentral, inc.'s software, an internet-based solution that will add functionality to System Integrator 5, comes in three editions. The Management Edition allows systems integrators to upload D-Tools project information, manage the project hours and assign resources to the project automatically. The Resource Edition allows the user to see tasks assigned to them through the project information, mark them as completed and enter actual hours. The Procurement Edition, which will be released in the first quarter of next year, allows the warehouse processing agent to look at the uploaded D-Tools project information and start the purchase ordering and procurement process of items assigned to each resource. The software, which Battaglia will debut at D-Tools' booth at CEDIA, will be available on a monthly subscription basis.
