Multi-Room Controller to Line-up: Introducing
the Cinema Reference Mach III Balance of Unique Design, Abundant
Features and Sonic Brilliance Benefits Both Integrators and Home
Theater Enthusiasts Alike
At this year's CEDIA Expo, Audio Design Associates
(ADA) -- the recognized brand of excellence in high-end custom installed
electronics - announced the introduction of the Cinema Reference
Mach III pre-amplifier/processor/multi-room controller.
The Cinema Reference Mach III is a home theater
preamp/processor and multi-room audio controller all in one. At
an MSRP of $12,000, the unit is ADA's new flagship piece, added
to an existing line of top-performing preamp/processor/multi-room
controllers priced at $5,600 and $3,500.
The Cinema Reference Mach III offers enhanced
feature sets and functionality: It delivers 7.1 channels, yet adds
more switching capabilities, including eight analog and eight digital
audio inputs for multi-room music sources; a DVD-Audio/SACD input
with on-board digital bass management; and composite, S- and component-video
inputs numbering eight each. The unit also features two outputs
for each of the three types of analog-video signals, balanced-audio
outputs and an Ethernet port.
Sonically speaking, the Cinema Reference
Mach III is the company's most luxuriant pre-amplifier yet, making
it an audio purist's delight. The unit incorporates ADA's unique
DSP engine, which is based on Texas Instruments TMS320D610 DSP.
Richard Stoerger, ADA's COO and VP says,
"The Cinema Reference Mach III came about in response to our dealers
requests for a flagship controller with features beyond those already
found in the popular Cinema Rhapsody Mach III. Adding the Cinema
Reference Mach III to our product line-up further reinforces our
position as the recognized brand of excellence in home theater and
audio components, which we've proudly established since 1977."
The Cinema Reference Mach III is ideally
matched with ADA's best (Level 4 Amp) Home Theater Amplifier the
MPA-502 (for five channels - 5.1) plus the PF-2502 (for two more
channels - when added to the MPA-501 for 7.1) or the 8 Channel (Level
3 Amp) PTM-8150.
