News Algolith Upgrades Operating Core for Its Popular Home Theater Video Enhancers (6/10/2006) CEDIA US Expo 2006 New Version 2.0 Heightens Effectiveness and Efficiency Of Mosquito and Mosquito HDMI(tm) Algolith, a leading developer of video image enhancement solutions, announces today it's introduction of a new version of the software core for its popular Mosquito and Mosquito HDMI(tm) Home Theater Video Enhancers that heightens the devices' processing of digital images for reproduction on 42-inch and larger big-screen displays. Version 2.0 represents a major advance in performance, and renders the Mosquito and Mosquito HDMI both more efficient and effective. It also incorporates a significant improvement in Block Artifact Reduction (BAR) that will be apparent to all Mosquito and Flea users.
