New enhancements in System Integrator enable D-Tools users to request pricing and other manufacturer information directly through D-Tools software

D-Tools, Inc., the worldwide leader in system integration software, today announced the availability of SecureConnect(tm), a feature enhancement to their award-winning System Integrator software. D-Tools SecureConnect 1.0 provides an automated way for D-Tools Manufacturer Vantage Point (MVP) manufacturers and the D-Tools user community to communicate directly from within D-Tools System Integrator software in 2 significant ways:

1. SecureConnect V1 provides an efficient and automated way for D-Tools MVP manufacturer members to provide accurate, up-to-date price data (cost and/or MSRP) to their authorized dealers who are using D-Tools SI. SecureConnect V1 provides MVP manufacturer members with their own web portal allowing them to communicate with D-Tools SI users effectively and securely. The MVP member web portal environment requires log-in and is secured by an SSL certificate (128 bit encryption). MVP members are instantly notified of any D-Tools SI user requests via email and are prompted to respond using web portal automated functionality.

2. SecureConnect V1 provides an automated method of requesting information on how to become an authorized dealer of any participating MVP member. D-Tools SI users can instantly request details on how to become an authorized dealer directly through their software. MVP members can respond confidentially through their web portal environment directly to any requests.

SecureConnect creates value for D-Tools MVP manufacturers and D-Tools users by establishing an easy-to-use communication vehicle that can be accessed by the D-Tools system integrator community.

D-Tools System Integrator enables systems integrators and custom installation professionals to create detailed projects managed with automated proposals, scheduling, pick lists, purchase orders and additional documents that streamline the integrated installation of audio and video products. By using a single, shared project file, system integrators and installers can pull information from a comprehensive database of tens of thousands of products, giving them the distinct advantage of designing systems using the most current product information, while saving hours of product research time.
