Highest Definition - New Reference HDMI-SR Cables from QED (2/10/2006)

QED, the UK's leading producer of specialist hi-fi and video cables for more than three decades, is pleased to announce the addition of new HDMI-SR 'Reference' cables to its range.

QED's world renowned design team faced an obvious dilemma when they were asked to engineer the new Reference HDMI-SR cables. How could they produce a better cable than their own award-winning QED HDMI-P 'Performance' range?

Needless to say, it didn't take them long to come up with the solution. The simple answer was to improve every individual part.

QED Reference HDMI-SR boasts enlarged Silver Plated, 99.999% pure, oxygen free copper conductors throughout. Its unrivalled interference immunity is achieved through the application of triple level electrical screening, including individually shielded differential pairs, with a gold Mylar wrap. An exceptionally low intra-pair skew ensures ultimate signal integrity over longer lengths, whilst the custom designed plugs strengthen 'strain-relief' and reflect the overall appearance of this incomparable product.

These exceptional new cables are available now from QED authorised dealers worldwide.

UK Suggested retail prices (inc. vat) start at £70 for the 0.5m. The 1m version is £80.

Specifications

Every Reference HDMI-SR lead is fully compliant with HDMI version 1.2A specification.

HDMI-SR cables are available in 0.5m, 1m, 3m, 5m, and 10m lengths.
