Revolver Launches 'Cygnis' Loudspeaker System (28/9/2006)

Revolver are pleased to announce the launch of their new 'Cygnis' loudspeaker system.

'Cygnis' is the culmination of 3 years intensive R&D and is a sophisticated, distinctive addition to the widely acclaimed Revolver range.

New 'Cygnis' Loudspeaker Features

* 3 Way design * High sensitivity (91 dB/W) with benign 8 ohm impedance * Frequency Response 30Hz - 30KHz +/- 6 dB (45Hz - 22KHz +/- 3 dB) * Hand built crossover utilizing air cored inductors, custom polypropylene capacitors and silver plated OFC wiring * Crossover network acoustically isolated in dedicated enclosure * Bi-wireable inputs via heavy duty nickel plated minimum resistance binding posts * Maple or Dark Cherry veneered* Bass enclosure * High gloss metallic black midrange housing with matching* veneered baffle

Bass

* Extensively braced, acoustically isolated 50 Litre enclosure * Reflex loading via low noise distributed port * 2 Pi _driver position for accurate LF 'in room' performance * 254 mm doped compressed paper diaphragm with cast aluminium vented chassis and shielded double magnet

Midrange

* Advanced composite with Kapex foam core 15 Litre enclosure * Asymmetric shape which reduces standing waves * Closed box Infinite baffle loading * 130 mm woven glass fibre diaphragm with cast aluminium chassis and shielded double magnet

Treble

* 26 mm anodised aluminium dome tweeter with shielded double magnet
