Mondo Debuts XL 7000 All-in-One Digital Home Entertainment
System (26/9/2006)
CEDIA US Expo 2006
Mondo unveils its exclusive Digital Fidelity
(Di-Fi TM) products
MONDO SYSTEM, INC. announced today at the
Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association's (CEDIA)
Expo, the launch of its XL 7000, the world's first all-in-one digital
home entertainment system. Mondo delivers an exclusive home entertainment
experience that puts total control into the hands of consumers.
Consumers can browse, preview, purchase, download, and store movies,
music, games and photographs, through the ease of a single remote.
In addition, Mondo is previewing two products anticipated for release
in early 2007. The products will be displayed at Mondo's booth,
#2614 on the ballroom level.
"Mondo is dedicated to creating products
that enable dealers to empower their customers to take control of
their cinematic experience," Chris Chung, Ph.D., chief executive
officer and founder, Mondo, Inc. "From watching movies, playing
video games, listening to music or creating custom photo projects,
our XL 7000 provides endless options for the consumer to easily
customize and direct."
The XL 7000 delivers an all-digital home
cinema experience with its 120" theater-size screen and high-definition
picture supported by Mondo's own DLP(tm) projector and fiber optic
transmitter and receiver. Additionally, its 800W of rich, precise
5.1 surround sound delivers unsurpassed sound quality, powered by
Mondo's Digital Fidelity (Di-Fi(tm)) audio technology and Digital
2 Digital (D2D(tm)) video technology.
Mondo's Di-Fi(tm) audio technology delivers
superior audio quality through software enhancement tools, such
as its Music Profiler, which enables users to digitally control
the gain and frequency range of each speaker channel. It also allows
users to save acoustic settings and digitally tune any speakers
to produce the best sound quality according to their room acoustics
and speaker performance. With Mondo's D2D(tm), there is no analog
to digital, digital to analog (AD/DA) conversion, eliminating distortion
and quality loss. In addition, D2D(tm)'s Movie Center provides one
system control from video source to display, direct pixel-to-pixel
mapping and edge enhancement. The result: crisp, vivid, high quality
picture. Furthermore, D2D(tm) will enhance standard DVDs, transforming
the picture into the equivalent of high-definition DVDs.
