Compact Amplifier Drives Multiple Speakers While Keeping Its Cool

Sunfire Corp., a specialist in the design, manufacture and marketing of high-end audio/video luxury goods for the custom installation and custom retail markets, introduced their new SZA-2200 two-channel amplifier. This digital power amplifier, conservatively rated at two times 80 watts, has been designed as the perfect complement to Sunfire's award-winning home theater receivers and processors which feature discrete second zone preamplifier outputs.

The cool-running design and slim form factor of the SZA-2200 make it the ideal solution for second zone and multi-room applications. Two channels of clean, powerful audio can be loaded with multiple speakers to create a low-impedance, high power scenario; perfect for large rooms, outdoor speakers, or any situation where high volume is required.

The SZA-2200 utilizes the latest 'Class-T' Digital Amplifier Technology and ACE(TM) (Automatic Clip Eliminator(TM)), which provide efficient and accurate power at all volume levels, while assuring product reliability and long life.

Weighing a mere 22 lbs, the black anodized chassis of the Sunfire SZA-2200 is a space-saving, single rack high; astonishingly small for its power, headroom and stability. For professional installations, the unit is rack mountable with hardware included. The SZA-2200 will be $850 MSRP and shipping December 2006.
