LiteTouch Showcases Distinct Keypad Styles at CEDIA
(20/9/2006)
CEDIA US Expo 2006
LiteTouch, a leading lighting control manufacturer,
will be featuring its unique keypad styles at the CEDIA Trade Show
September 13-17, 2006 in Denver, Colorado.
These keypad styles reflect LiteTouch's focus
on market-driven product development. Said LiteTouch President Don
Buehner, "For LiteTouch and all the other lighting control companies
in the industry, our fiercest competitor remains the toggle switch.
When you consider the value of the aesthetic and life-enhancing
benefits of lighting control versus traditional wiring, it's amazing
that residential lighting control systems aren't in wider use. Our
goal is to offer products that inspire consumers to buy lighting
control in general, and LiteTouch in particular."
The keypads have consumer-friendly, memorable
names that complement their looks: Metropolitan, Coastal and Euro.
Said LiteTouch Marketing Director Angie Larson, "We believe that
these three highly distinct keypad styles will help LiteTouch deliver
quality opportunities to our dealer force and help our dealers close
those sales. Of course we want to delight our dealers with LiteTouch
products, but we're frankly more interested in delighting our dealers'
customers to increase local market share."
Metropolitan offers the sophisticated styling
and clean lines traditionally associated with LiteTouch and lighting
control systems in general. Metropolitan keypads can have from one
to nine buttons in a single gang, and are made of durable metal
in 13 colors and finishes. Custom engraved and backlit buttons are
available.
Coastal keypads represent a bold new look
for LiteTouch. With one to five buttons in a single gang, Coastal
buttons are large and angled so they are very easy to read. While
the buttons are only available in black and white, the keypads come
in six vivid new colors including Flamingo, Ocean and Black Patent
Leather. Coastal keypads feature a colorful first for LiteTouch:
blue LEDs.
The LiteTouch Euro keypad is perhaps the
most distinct of all due to its uniquely European small square size.
Not often seen stateside, but prolific throughout the world, Euro
offers American consumers the opportunity to distinguish their home
with something completely different and unique. With from two to
six buttons in a single gang, Euro offers nine durable metal faceplate
finishes and custom-engraved buttons.
All three styles - Metropolitan, Coastal
and Euro are currently available for shipment.
