A/V RoomService Introduces Sound Proofing and Acoustic Treatment Products (7/9/2006)

CEDIA US Expo 2006

A/V RoomService is introducing RoomDamp at the CEDIA show in Denver this September. RoomDamp is a constrained layer, viscoelastic damping material for use on walls and ceilings to reduce resonances and sound transmission. The 3"x54" strips are double-sided with a paper release shear stress adhesive. This combination noise control/sound quality product performs better than the competition and at less cost.

A/V RoomService is introducing the IsoPad at the CEDIA show in Denver this September. This product is applied to the perimeter of suspended ceilings and acts as an isolation pad to eliminate vibrations from being transmitted to adjoining walls, as well as forming a seal around the perimeter to trap noise.

A/V RoomService is introducing a Schroeder diffuser (maximum-length sequence, phase-grating diffraction) as an addition to the Frequency Response Panel (FRP) system at the CEDIA show in Denver this September. The 1" deep diffuser can be used in conjunction with the 2.25" poly diffuser already a part of the FRP family of panels, as well as on its own where 2.25" deep applications are prohibitive.

A/V RoomService is introducing noise rated doors at the CEDIA show in Denver this September. These doors look, fit and are priced more inline with residential applications, yet perform like industrial noise rated doors. Including a wood door with an STC 50 rating. Wood doors and steel, STC 49-53 doors feature cam lift hinges, 14 Ga. Welded frame and a standard thickness of 1-3/4".

A/V RoomService is introducing Pipe/Duct Wrap at the CEDIA show in Denver this September. The combination of loaded vinyl limp mass with an aluminum foil facing and a 1" thick fiberglass quilted decoupler offer superior noise reduction for plumbing and HVAC ducts in a single step installation.

A/V RoomService is introducing a vinyl barrier at the CEDIA show in Denver this September. This tough, limp, high mass, barium sulfate loaded vinyl is for use in walls and ceilings to reduce sound transmission. The sheets offer a STC 27 in a single layer application and are available with a reinforced fiberglass screen for more rugged applications.
