Sencore Demonstrates the SP395 SoundPro Audio Integrator
(1/9/2006)
Booth 111, CEDIA US Expo 2006
The SP395 SoundPro Audio Integrator provides
the audio/acoustic analyzing tests needed for sound system testing,
setup or calibration.
The Sencore SP395 'SoundPro' Audio Integrator
provides comprehensive, easy to use audio/acoustic analysis, for
analyzing distributed sound and sound reinforcement systems, plus
live sound applications and industrial sound analysis; all in one
handheld, battery-operated instrument.
The Audio Integrator makes easy work of any
acoustic or audio system analyzing challenge. It simplifies speaker
coverage analysis, speaker cluster time alignment, speaker time
delay adjustments, and frequency response equalization. It tests
and documents background noise level, reverberation time band-by-band,
and system speech intelligibility.
The Audio Integrator analysis functions are
implemented with 64-bit DSP firmware algorithms. As each function
is executed, the analyzer takes on one of over 25 different audio
analysis personalities. A standard core of these test functions
is standard equipment. Optional test functions are grouped into
"firmware modules" for purchase at any time, at which time they
are unlocked for use. This permits the SP395 to be upgraded (in
the field) for special applications, as needed, to fit into budget
requirements better.
The SP395 features dual phantom-powered high-gain/low-distortion
microphone inputs, powerful dual-FFT processing, integrated USB
audio interface and, independent analog monitoring. The SP395 is
supplied with a type 2 standard measurement microphone, XLR cable,
USB cable, impedance test cable, power adapter/charger, battery
and padded carry case. The removable lithium-ion rechargeable battery
provides 4-5 hours of portable testing.
Availability:
SP395 - Immediate; Includes type 2 microphone
and SoundCore firmware module. Numerous optional test functions
are available for an extra charge.
