In Touch Technologies offers ICM Corp F-Conn compression connectors and Cable Pro tools range (31/8/2006)

In Touch Technologies is pleased to announce its appointment as a stocking wholesaler for ICM Corp and its F-Conn compression connectors and Cable Pro tools range.

ICM Corp 90-degree F, F, BNC, TV female, TV Male, RCA, Mini-Coax RCA, Gold Series F, RCA and BNC connectors.

Available as both one-piece, compression connectors for simple F type and BNC connectors and multi-piece compression for more demanding RCA and Belling Lee (TV) connections, this complete range of connectors and installation tools provides any competent installer with a greater level of confidence in the termination they are making whilst looking professional and increasing the perceived value of the install.

Off the back of this announcement, In Touch has also added a mini-coax cables and multi-core cable to complement ICM's mini RCA connector. Available as either individual cores on 25m reels (in Black, Red, Blue, Green and Yellow) or as a 50m reel, Multi Core cable with all five colours + two twisted pairs built into a single jacket which is ideal RGB screen installs that need a remote IR eye.

Why go back to multi-piece connectors?

Multi-piece connectors have one big advantage over their one-piece cousins and that is that they are far more reliable to terminate properly than a connector where you can not see what is happening or that the correct termination has been made. By taking just a little bit more time over the termination and building the connector up piece by piece, installers can both see and actually feel the quality of the termination, which is only completed once the connector is compressed.

Available from In Touch Technologies as both a discounted 'Starter Kit' and as individual bags of twenty five connectors. In Touch are even able to offer an upgrade to the pro case offering a multitude of pockets and compartments for both tools, connectors and other installer nick-nacks.
