Furman will Demonstrate PowerKit-TL Power Extension System - Newest Product Line Addition (7/8/2006)

Booth 171, CEDIA US Expo 2006

At CEDIA 2006, Furman Sound will announce that the In-wall AC extension system developed by Panamax is now available to Furman dealers. The PowerKit-TL allows for safe and discrete connection of remote equipment back to the system's power conditioning unit, such as when a plasma screen or subwoofer at the front of a theater needs to be connected to a rack in the rear. The system is UL-approved and code-compliant.

The MAX(r) In-Wall(tm) PowerKit-TL is a four-component kit designed to provide the ultimate power solution to remote display devices within a home theater system. Used in conjunction with a Furman power conditioner, the system discreetly supplies safe, pure power from the main equipment rack to any remote display device, amplifier, or power subwoofer, while at the same time improving picture and sound quality.

The PowerKit includes a Power Inlet Faceplate (PIF) with a twistlock connector, a Power Outlet Faceplate (POF) for noise filtration, a 50-foot ground-rated In-wall power cable, and a 12-foot AC power chord that shields out performance-robbing noise. The PowerKit also comes equipped with a Retrofit-style J-box for placement anywhere desired in an already existing wall or panel. The In-wall extension system is UL approved and code compliant.

MAX In-Wall(tm) PowerKit-TL is available for viewing at the Furman Sound booth #171.
