HiddenWires Announces the Winner of its Summer 2006
Survey of the CI Home Automation Market (1/8/2006)
HiddenWires, the leading European resource
for custom installed (CI) home automation and home entertainment,
is pleased to announce that Steve Mclean of SMCSI (http://www.smcsi.com)
based in Luton, Bedfordshire, is the winner of its Summer 2006 survey
prize draw.
The survey, launched at the CEDIA UK Expo
and run throughout July 2006, was open to all residential systems
professionals and equipment suppliers. Over 200 participants completed
the written or online questionnaire, and as a thank you, participants
were entered into a prize draw to win a Pace

GB£299!
Yasmin Hashmi, managing editor of HiddenWires
says, "I would like to thank all the participants for taking the
time to complete the questionnaire. Their feedback, especially on
the subjects they want us to cover and their suggestions for improvements,
is invaluable."
Stella Plumbridge, publisher of HiddenWires
adds, "As well as making sure we continue to provide a resource
that custom installers and suppliers actually use, the results provide
an interesting insight into the CI industry. One eye-opener is the
fact that 61% of the installers surveyed did not belong to any trade
association."
Further results of the HiddenWires survey
will be published at a later date.
