BADA Welcomes New Retail Member (27/7/2006)
BADA, the British Audio Visual Dealers Association,
is pleased to announce the addition of six new shops as members
to the Association.
Practical Hi-Fi, based in the North West
of the UK, had their application for membership approved at a recent
BADA board meeting and so, with immediate effect, their six shops
in Lancaster, Preston, Blackpool, Warrington, Bolton and Manchester
are all full members of the Association.
Having started in Lancaster over 20 years
ago, Practical Hi-Fi has grown to be the premier group of hi-fi
shops in the North West of the UK. The addition of these six shops
to the roster of BADA members brings the hi-fi buying consumer,
in this heavily populated and increasingly prosperous area, the
benefits of buying their hi-fi from a BADA retailer. Transferable
warranties, product exchange, first class demonstrations and the
security of purchasing from a BADA bonded shop are now available
for these customers.
In addition to joining BADA, Practical Hi-Fi
have enrolled all their customer facing staff on the BADA Demcraft
course to ensure they are equipped with the skills necessary to
provide the very best in product demonstrations for their customers.
The three training courses for Practical Hi-Fi staff took place
in May and June 2006 at the Warrington branch, and were presented
by Tom Barron of PMC as one of the new wave of Demcraft courses
being run in conjunction with BADA's Associate members.
Ian Anderson, Chairman of BADA, said "We
warmly welcome Gay Brown and Practical Hi-Fi as new members of the
Association. The public in the north west now have a retailer who
is able to demonstrate a commitment to the highest quality product
knowledge, service and customer satisfaction. We are particularly
pleased that Gay has recognised the qualities of the Demcraft training
course and has made an undertaking to put all her staff through
the programme for the benefit of her customers and business."
