Denon Announces AVC-A11XVA - Web-enabled and Networked
THX Ultra2 7.1 Surround Amplifer (27/7/2006)
The newly upgraded AVC-A11XVA owes much of
its design to the humungous Ÿber-amp AVC-A1XVA, pack-ing similar
incredible performance into a compact and more affordable package.
Key features of the A1 are there, including the advanced MultEQ(TM)
XT room correction and calibration technology that is capable of
minimising the effects of room acoustics for multiple listeners.
Built to THX Ultra2 standards (the only ones worth having) the sound
has not been forgotten and the A11 delivers powerhouse movie and
music sound, with finesse.
This is a world-class component offering
unprecedented features and capabilities for a price lower than might
be expected. To enhance flexibility, the AVC-A11XVA features seven
discrete amplifiers and multiple-channel output, with independent
audio and video processing capabilities allowing a multi-source/multi-zone
home entertainment system from a single component.

The AVC-A11XVA is compatible with every popular

4.0/5.1/6.1 post processing, and offers additional DSP modes. Audio
performance is maximized through Denon's newly improved DDSC-D (Dynamic
Discrete Surround Decoder-Digital) and Advanced AL24 Processing
circuitry, which utilizes advanced Texas Instruments, Analog Devices
32bit floating point processors and Burr-Brown 24bit/192kHz audio
DACs
Custom Installation-Friendly Features, Plus
Upgradeability
In addition to its extensive complement of
digital and analog audio and video connections, the AVC-A11XVA also
includes a full array of custom installation AV Amplifier features,
such as assignable high current DC trigger outputs and an RS-232C
port for integrated system operation with Crestron or AMX. Via built-in
Ethernet port, the amplifier offers TCP/IP control capability, and
can accommodate future software / firmware upgrades.
The AVC-A11XVA is also supplied with a new,
improved EL programmable remote control.
