Loewe takes digital television into a new realm with its latest features (30/6/2006)

It's not only the look of Loewe's televisions that is inspirational - the advanced digital technology is also impressive. The latest range of innovative features prove once again that Loewe is the trendsetter and driving force behind the industry.

Loewe has the widest and most attractive range of TV sets featuring integrated receivers for digital television (DVB) in the industry, a big step ahead of competition. Most Loewe televisions, including the Individual range, feature a hybrid tuner for both analogue and digital terrestrial (Freeview) reception. With many of the new sets, it is also easy to upgrade with a digital satellite tuner (DVBS).

The Loewe Digital Recording Plus (DR+) feature, a digital hard-disc memory integrated in to many of the new TV sets, means that consumers will never miss a moment of their favourite programmes. The memory can record up to 100 continuous hours of a programme whether it's pre-programmed or actually during the programme in transmission. So, customers can pause a programme whenever they want and continue viewing it later without losing any information. Whether they are interrupted by a telephone call or out for a bite to eat, they can defer their viewing easily and even pause and resume live broadcasts at their own leisure.

Furthermore, thanks to the Loewe's Highlight function, which is a unique offering, all it takes is one touch of the green button on the remote control to save personal highlights. The 30 seconds leading up to and 30 seconds following a scene will be automatically recorded so users can, for example, record goals in a football match for replay during half time or at the end of a match. And, with Picture in Picture (PIP), consumers can even play back the hightlights without missing any of the match in progress.

To make life even easier for the consumer, all of the new DR+ functions can be quickly and conveniently operated using the new, clearly structured Loewe Assist+ onscreen menu.
