Loewe extends its Life product line with the Modus L 42 (30/6/2006)

CEDIA UK Expo 2006

* Digital+ platform for integrated reception of DVB-T (Freeview) and optional DVB-S * Common interface removes need for external set-top box * 'HD ready' * Simple operation thanks to Assist+

Premium home entertainment manufacturer, Loewe, adds a new flat display panel, the Modus L 42, to its Life product range. The Modus plasma screen boasts a youthful design and one-of-a-kind Loewe technology.

Intelligent features combined with the new Loewe DigitalPlus platform and a high resolution display panel (1024x1024 pixels) mean that the Modus L 42 offers brilliant picture quality, while the Sound+ audio system developed by Loewe provides an incredible audio experience. The display set is `HD Ready` and is perfectly equipped for high definition television in 16:9 cinema format boasting visible screen diagonals of 106 centimetres. The HDMI provides high definition playback quality of digital picture and sound signals.

The common interface integrated into the new flatscreen television enables consumers to receive subscription TV channels without the need of an external set-top box. This unique feature once again emphasises Loewe's leading role in the digital television market.

The Modus L 42 can be intuitively operated with the new Loewe Assist+, an easy to operate on-screen menu. Furthermore, thanks to the Electronic Program Guide (EPG), programmes can be viewed in a `Picture-in-Picture` (PIP) window or conveniently recorded using the DVD recorder.

Placement options including an attractive tabletop stand that conceals cables, a stand unit or an elegant wall-mount solution, will make the new Modus L 42 an eye-catching addition to any room.
